The time of Dr. Anton Randa

The grammar school bearing Rand's name celebrated its 40th anniversary this year. Its patron MUDr. Anton Randa was born 160 years ago. On this occasion, the school is holding an exhibition of pupils' work.

The artworks on display reflect the times in which Randa lived. The inspiration for the work came from the height of the Art Nouveau period, but also from the life of Dr. Randa himself. The exhibition will use contemporary art techniques to recall the doctor's interests, such as photography and collecting prints and minerals. It is a tribute to Rand's life, which was also filled with healing the poor of Jablonec.
