Description of the place

You can find continuators of Tyrš's sporting tradition in almost every town. The Jablonec Sokol Hall was one of the largest gyms in Bohemia in its time! It is surrounded by the generous Tyrš Park with a gazebo (Bráth Pavilion), for which the local Ornamental Society purchased the land as early as 1884. It is still used for relaxation and occasionally hosts cultural, sporting or social events. It is located in the city centre - 150 m from the tram terminus from Liberec and 500 m from the train station.
